Our Story
DVM International was founded in 2017 in Amsterdam. Netherlands by Ampara Verspoor and Jan Dekker. The idea for our fire blankets originated from Jan's experience in previous jobs in companies, covering Sprinkler systems, Gas-extinction systems and Fire-detection systems.
For homes and small companies, a Sprinkler- or Gas-extinction system is not feasible, but Fire blankets offer an affordable and safe solution to extinguish incipient fires.
Since then, our privately‑owned business has provided trusted, high‑quality fire blankets to numerous households, companies and municipal organizations across Europe.

What We Offer
Fire Blankets
EN1869:2019 and CE certified superior glassfiber fire blankets with a temperature resistance up to 550°C and an electric resistance of 1 MΩ.
The 550°C temperature resistance ensures our fire blankets are suited for Class F (oil and grease), which allows for the use in a.o. kitchens.
The 1 MΩ (Mega Ohm) electric resistance ensures our fire blankets are suited for Class E (electrical) fires.
And of course, our fire blankets, like almost all other fire blankets, are suited for Class A (Solids), B (liquids) and C (Gases) fires.
