A test report does not automatically constitute product certification.

A5.6 Dimensions and weight statement

Permitted wording

The values should refer to the finished product as supplied and should be supported by product specifications, verified measurements or test reports.

A5.7 Deployment statement

Permitted wording where supported

“The complete product has been application-tested on the identified reference vehicle using the supplied packaging, folding method and loop arrangement.”

Where the number of persons or application time is stated, the exact technical-rule edition and test evidence should support the claim.

A5.8 Thermal-performance statement

Permitted wording where supported by defined test conditions

“The blanket material has been tested under defined direct-flame and thermal-loading conditions.”

Product pages should state the actual classification, temperature, exposure time, test method and report reference where these details are used commercially.
