DVM 1×1 m Fire Blanket Successfully Independently Tested by TÜV SÜD

DVM International is pleased to announce that the DVM 1 × 1 m Fire Blanket Series has undergone independent fire-performance testing by TÜV SÜD in accordance with EN 1869:2019.
The independent test documentation provides distributors, professional purchasers, retailers, private-label partners and end users with documented information about the performance of the DVM 1 × 1 m fire blanket under controlled test conditions.
The tested 1 × 1 m blanket is available in two packaging versions: the flexible DVM Safety Bag and the rigid DVM Premium Box. Both versions contain the same 1 × 1 m fire blanket.
Independent testing and transparent documentation
The official TÜV SÜD test report and the corresponding cooking-oil and heptane fire-test videos are available through the DVM website.
Why independent fire blanket testing matters
A fire blanket is an emergency safety product. It must be capable of being deployed quickly and performing reliably when it is needed.
EN 1869:2019 defines the requirements for fire blankets intended to control small fires. Independent testing provides additional technical evidence beyond a manufacturer’s own product statements.

The DVM 1 × 1 m fire blanket is designed for rapid first-response use on small fires, particularly cooking-oil and pan fires. It is manufactured from woven fibreglass fabric with a specified fabric weight of at least 430 g/m².
The blanket is available in two packaging formats, allowing customers to select the version best suited to the intended installation location.
