The DVM International Professional Fire Blanket (also known as a fire blanket) is an indispensable safety tool for homes, businesses, campers, and workshops. Stored in a flexible plastic bag, measuring 1 x 1 meter, this blanket is ideal for extinguishing small fires, such as pan flames, fallen candles, or small electrical fires. Thanks to its high-quality fiberglass construction, this fire blanket offers fast and effective protection without the use of harmful chemicals.

Suitable for Fire Class A, B, C, E and F – including grease and oil fires

Easy to use – ready for immediate action

The fire blanket comes in a practical PVC storage bag with two clearly visible pull tabs. In case of fire:

Pull the blanket out of the bag.

Gently place the blanket over the fire to cut off the oxygen supply.

Leave the blanket in place for at least 3 minutes to prevent re-ignition.

For burning clothing: wrap the person in the blanket, wait 3 minutes, carefully remove it, and cool the burn with water.

Maintenance and Replacement

Non-reusable: Always replace after use – as recommended by the fire department.

Inspection: Annually inspect the PVC cover for tears or wear.

Storage: Store the fire blanket in a dry, easily accessible location (e.g., kitchen, hallway, workshop).

Replacement: Replace every 10 years, even if the blanket has never been used.
